So. You got this black paint M3 body. It’s not an authentic black paint camera but it IS really well done. The paint is sort of a hammertone finish and very attractive with a matte finish.
The Leica script on top is done with red paint.
And then you happen to have the gold 50mm f1.4 Summilux on the shelf.
One thing leads to another and you think, “Man. I bet that would look GOOD on the black paint camera!”
Well, what are you going to do with the gold M4-2? Wait a minute! There’s a black 50mm f1.4 Summilux!
