You find one that you know you shouldn’t sell. I’ve had a few Nikon rangefinder cameras over the years but they’ve mostly been S or S2 cameras. Never an SP.
The cameras came with either the 50mm f2 lens or the 50mm f1.4. Oddly enough, the values of the camera/lens combinations are about the same. This one is the f2 lens.
The serial numbers on this model started at 6200000. This one is within the first 5000 cameras made. It was probably 1957.
I won’t have it long but I’m going to make sure the picture goes somewhere safe.
